Ducati is a very popular brand among motorcycle enthusiasts, and there is a lot of good reason for that. From its first Ducati motorcycle in 1926 to today’s modern street tracker, the brand has always been extremely innovative and never afraid to take risks.

Today’s Ducatis are no exception, being among the best motorcycles money can buy. But just because something is popular does not mean it is automatically great.?

Riding a Ducati is an absolute joy

Ducati is all about the pure, unfiltered joy of riding. The brand simply got it right from day one and has been delivering exactly that ever since. While other brands are busy trying to fit an entire electronic dashboard into an understated instrument panel, Ducatis are the only ones who understand that a motorcycle is not a tool, but an extension of the rider.

The reason they do it so well is that they don’t force you to feel like you’re riding a machine, but rather, a friend. You sit upright, perfectly balanced between the front and rear wheels, feeling the wind in your face, the road beneath you, and the thrust of the powerful motor beneath your body. Thanks to the compact engine design and light weight of Ducati motorcycles, you don’t even feel the wind drag on you when riding at high speeds.

They’re built for speed and handling like no other motorcycle

The best way to describe the way a Ducati rides is to compare it to a Porsche 911. Both are extremely fast and handling sports cars, but the feeling you get from both is something else entirely. On a Ducati, you have the feeling that you’re in complete control, and you can use the entire motorcycle to its full potential.

You’ll see Ducatis everywhere at race tracks, often seen at the limit of what human beings are capable of. You’ll also find them on backroads, often driving like they were born to do it. This is what makes Ducatis so great. They’re built like nothing else, and once you get used to the unique handling, you won’t want to get off of one. You might even wish you could drive it forever.

They’re incredibly reliable

There are a few things you should know about Ducatis before buying one. The first is that they are incredibly reliable. The reason for this is that Ducati has always focused its efforts on producing a “better mousetrap”, never on “how many sales we can make today”.

As a result, the company has always maintained a low failure rate for its motorcycles. While that may sound like it’s a piece of cake, it’s actually not. The second thing about Ducatis that you should know is that they are incredibly reliable. This means that if you maintain your motorcycle properly and do not abuse it, it will last you a long time.

Now, both of these things may or may not be true depending on the make and model of your bike. At Hooligan Motor Works, we have seen a wide array of Ducatis come into our shop, and each has had its own set of repairs.

Some have been better maintained than others, some have been abused more than others, and some have just been thrown into the shop for being broken. Whatever the case may be, there is always something wrong with each Ducati that gets brought into the shop.

There are a lot of aftermarket parts available

Ducatis are amongst the most popular brands when it comes to aftermarket parts, and there are a lot of great reasons for that. First of all, the bikes come from the factory with a wide range of available aftermarket parts, so there is no need for most owners to bother with them.

On the other hand, for those who are interested, Ducati has a very wide selection of aftermarket parts available for their bikes, which means that you are never limited in what you can do to your motorcycle. This is also one of the best things about Ducatis.

They are not a brand that is focused on one type of riding. While Kawasaki’s are designed for cruising, Hondas are designed for canyon carving, and Suzukis are designed for speed, Ducatis are equally at home on the track, on the highway, and on the backroads. As such, they are a great choice for new riders or experienced riders who want to explore new types of riding.

And the sound from their good-looking twin-cylinder engines is amazing

To say Ducatis is loud is an understatement. Why would you buy any other motorcycle than one with a twin-cylinder engine, especially one that has a Ducati-built sound system? You would be hard-pressed to find another motorcycle that makes as much sound as a Ducati does.

This is actually something that the brand has been doing for a very long time. The sound system on their first motorcycle in 1926 consisted of a single-cylinder engine that was connected to a loudspeaker, which is how it produced sound.

Eventually, the sound system on every motorcycle would become too small, so Ducati engineers decided to create a sound system that would be large enough to produce sound from whatever engine is installed in a Ducati. Ducatis are not only among the best motorcycles money can buy but also among the best-sounding motorcycles you can buy.

How much does a good Ducati cost?

This will vary depending on the make and model of your bike, and what options it comes with. However, on average, you should expect to spend $17,000 or more on a good Ducati. The best way to find out what price range you should expect your Ducati to fall into is to go to your local Ducati dealership and find out what the asking price is for a bike in that price range.

From there, you can make an educated guess about what your bike’s cost will be. If you are still not sure what to expect, you can also check out our price guide or talk to a salesperson at your local Ducati dealership.

Which one should you buy?

There is no definitive answer to this question, and it will completely depend on what kind of riding you want to do, what kind of motorcycle you want, and what kind of budget you have available. However, we can give you some guidelines.

First of all, if you are not sure what kind of rider you are, you can purchase a bike that is more suited for someone who is a beginner, or someone who is not very experienced with bikes. While a good Ducati will cost you quite a bit of money, it might be worth it if you are not sure what you are doing.

Second, if you are not sure what kind of riding you want to do, you can get a good bike that is designed for a wide variety of riding. There are many different models available to choose from, and you can find one that is designed for cruising, for taking on the track, or for any other kind of riding you want to do.

Bottom line

Ducatis are among the best motorcycles money can buy. They are built for speed and handling like no other motorcycle, they’re incredibly reliable, they’re built with a wide range of aftermarket parts available, and they make a great sound. All in all, they are worth every penny of the price tag.
